     Title: DogStar creates collateral for new Epaderm product launch

DogStar have designed all the marketing material for Epaderm Cream, a new product launched 1st February.



Epaderm Cream is the latest product launched by long-standing client Molnlycke Healthcare. DogStar and Molnycke won a DBA design effectiveness award in October for a previous campaign, ‘Slap it on, wrap it up'. For Epaderm Cream, DogStar has created print and online advertisements, leave pieces for health professionals, a direct mail piece and an information booklet for patients.

Emma Atkinson, Creative Director at DogStar said: ‘A major challenge of the project was to manage the relationship between the new cream and the existing, heavier ointment.'

‘This is the first product of this kind, in this range, that Molnlycke has launched. It's a lighter, more discreet cream, which is perfect for daytime, on-the-go use. The introduction of the cream extends the range beyond the heaver ointment, Epaderm, for which we designed the collateral last year. The ointment is more effective but can be too greasy for daytime use. So together the two products provide 24 hour treatment for dry skin conditions such as eczema.'

‘We took the idea of complete therapy and created interchangeable straplines that suggest this complete flexibility of use. ‘Head to toe' - any part of the body; ‘Young to old' - any age;' Start to finish' - any time. ‘We've got your day covered'.

DogStar have worked with Molnlycke for four years, working on various subbranding projects such as Mepiform, Tubifast Gloves, and of course Epaderm. In all cases, creating the sub-brand and applying it to various pieces of marketing collateral.
