DogStar expands Pegasus concept into Europe
DogStar has expanded their work for Pegasus, an independent Turkish airline, into Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
DogStar was initially appointed by Redmint Communications to create a strategic advertising campaign for Pegasus in October last year.
Following the success of the campaign in the UK, DogStar is now developing and translating the most recent UK concept for use in these new markets. The UK campaign started in London earlier this month in print, underground and will shortly be seen on bus sides. The Dutch and German campaigns, will be seen across the same collateral within the month.
Pegasus is Turkeyʼs largest private airline and is credited with bringing low-cost, comfortable and efficient air travel to the country.
"The UK is very competitive low-cost airline market so we knew the creative had to hit the ground running and work hard from the very start, but we also wanted to create a solid design platform for Pegasus to build on." said Paul Turner, Executive Creative Director.
"So we were very proud when the campaign was so successful and Pegasus decided they wanted to use our work across their European target countries. Turkey is a hot destination this year so we wanted to capitalise on this. Price is always going to be king but weʼve created the ʻprice windowʼ which fuses price and destination through a tantalizing plane-window-inspired view of stunning Turkey".
