Created the identity for EC1 history project celebrating the EC1 area

One History, a project commissioned by EC1 New Deal for Communities (NDC), has been produced by King's College London researchers and includes oral histories from people who live and work in the area and a walking trail. DogStar worked with EC1 NDC to devise the name ‘One History', the tag line ‘EC1 in the making' and the logo. This led to other items being produced including posters, an invite and a leaflet. DogStar also designed the website see www.ec1history.co.uk. The project aims to highlight, celebrate and record the rich history of the EC1 area, and look at how that might influence plans for the future.

 

Lou Every, Senior Designer, DogStar Design, says, "With DogStar being located in EC1 we felt an affinity with this project. Like London as a whole, the EC1 area has many layers to its culture and history. Through the logo and visual language we created for One History we wanted to demonstrate how this diversity comes together as a rich and cohesive whole."
